I admire the beauty of the delicate nature of insects, they play a huge role in our ecosystems, yet they often have some of the shortest life spans. The majority of butterflies only live between 2-6 weeks, such beautiful creatures are doomed to a short lifespan. They are a sacrifice to a bigger cause ( our ecosystems ), with most insects being prey. However, I still believe no matter how short the lifespan, their beauty has the right to be admired for years to come, hence the preservation of our ecosystems including the smallest of creatures.
